A second line is a celebratory parade originating in New Orleans, where a brass band (the first line) leads dancers (the second line) through the streets waiving handkerchiefs and parasols. Secondline Jewels are created from chunks of broken drum cymbals that are cut or punched, filed down, polished, and made into accessories.
