The Calendar of the Full Moon is based on traditional names given by various cultures (mainly Indigenous American and Celtic) to the full moon of each month. Magda drew the artwork for each month with these names in mind, but also her own connections to the shifting seasons and what they mean to her.
This is a large calendar, printed on thick, creamy paper. It feels luxurious. A perfect holiday or birthday gift. The only dates marked are moon phases, solstices, and equinoxes. As such, The Calendar of the Full Moon is not bound to any specific religion or culture. It can be used by anybody and everybody. Add your own holidays!
The images illustrate the seasons of the northern hemisphere. Please note that the moon phase dates are based on US Central time. Depending on your time zone, some may fall on the preceding or following day. This calendar is bound with 2 small binder rings. There is a hole in the middle, which is meant for hanging on a hook or nail.
