Built in 1816 by French-born furniture maker and wine importer François Seignouret, the three-story townhouse was purchased by fellow wine importer Pierre Brulatour in 1870. In the 1920s and early 1930s, it housed the Arts and Crafts Club of New Orleans, whose artists helped make its courtyard one of the French Quarter’s most frequently illustrated spaces. The property later served as WDSU-TV’s broadcasting home before The Historic New Orleans Collection acquired it in 2006 and opened the restored site as a museum facility in 2019.

Our exclusive mug features an original drawing by Emma Fick of the Seignouret-Brulatour House at 520 Royal Street.
