A magnet reproducing The Night Prowler, a French Quarter street scene depicting 710 Toulouse Street at night — a man walks along the darkened street, his shadow falling on the wall, with a cat beside the colonnette supporting the balcony, laundry hanging from the second floor, and the iconic ironwork of 714 Toulouse visible in the background.
Holger W. Jensen (c. 1880–1943) was born in Denmark and emigrated to the United States as a child, studying at the Art Institute of Chicago. He sketched during travels with his wife and used those drawings as the basis for paintings completed at home. This oil painting, dated 1930–1939, is held in the collection of The Historic New Orleans Collection.
