Part of Clement's "Cities of the Dead" series, this piece renders the Gremillion tomb in fired clay, drawing from the above-ground burial monuments found in New Orleans' historic cemeteries. Each sculpture in the series is individually crafted to reflect the architectural detail and cultural significance of its source monument.
